Chris Dvorak joined the Atlantic Police Department in April of 1990. Prior to joining the A.P.D. Chris was a sales clerk and stay at home mom. Chris and her husband, John, live right outside of town, own & operate a tire and service business in Atlantic. They have two grown children, their daughter and her husband live in Kansas City, MO and have two children. Their son and his wife live in Atlantic and have four children. Away from work, Chris enjoys camping and spending time with family, friends and especially grandchildren. 

Shelly Towne has been with the Atlantic Police Department since August 2014. Prior to joining the A.P.D. Shelly was a sales clerk for many years. Shelly and her husband Chris, have one son that is grown and lives here in Audubon with his wife and children. In addition they have two granddaughters and one expected in June 2021.Away from work, Shelly enjoys being a grandma, fishing, camping, reading and spending time with her family.
